Dwarf

Dwarves are short stocky people with exceptional health and ability to handle duress. They are immune to poison and generally have more hit points than humans. They also regenerate hit points at a much faster rate. This, however, causes them to consume food and drink twice as fast. Because they are short, dwarves get fewer moves per level than other races. They also get -25 mana to start with.

 They are clumsy with magical devices and often fail to use them.
