This is a hybrid race of mixed human and elf parentage.
They are stronger and stockier than elves, and smarter than humans. They inherit
from their Elvin side vulnerability to magical attacks (reflected in the apply
saves penalty). Half-elves get an extra practice per level. They regenerate mana
faster than humans but slower than elves. Because of their diversity, half-elves
do well in almost any class they chose.
